hey, glad you both liked them. I saw his work for the first time today (online) and was completely bowled over. I don't know what his intentions/motivations are but they're weighing on me.

AOSO,

That second one you posted really hit me, because its as if he painted a recurring lucid dream I used to have of falling through my bed into space.

I mean, everything down to the coloring and the texture captures what that dream felt/looked like. Incredible to see.

I read that he was a student of Beksinski's, who is also remarkable.

Thanks.

I'm seeing the pictures...incredible. Can't see them, FFR?

A lot going on in them...the first one reminds me of how I feel lately...head just above murky waters...head as a lone island...eyes reaching out for I know not what, the Key, the Secret, the Void?
Tell me, what else should I have done?/Doesn't everything die at last, and too soon?/Tell me, what is it you plan to do/With your one wild and precious life?

Wow! I love this surreal art - His teacher (Besinski) has some amazing work as well. I've got one of his paitings as my desktop image because oddly enough it is similar to what came to my mind in a counselling/hypnotherapy session. Gotta love serendipity!
